Creating a Storage Pool
To create a private storage pool, use the POOLS parameter on the Create Subsystem Description (CRTSBSD) or Change Subsystem Description (CHGSBSD) commands.
Shared pools simply need to have storage defined for them using the Change Shared Pool (CHGSHRPOOL) or the Work with Shared Pool (WRKSHRPOOL) commands.
