Clearing ASP without tampering Disk Protection during System Scratch

1. Note down the existing disk configuration with information of Load Source Disk.
2. IPL the system in Manual mode to launch DST Menu.
3. In DST menu, On Work with ASP configuration,select option 4 Delete ASP data.
4. A message will be prompted in bottom of screen "ASP have been marked for deletion"
5. Go back to DST Main Menu
6. Choose Option 7
7. Again choose Option 7 (Operator Panel Functions)
8. Choose Shutdown (F10 - Power off the systemv- This will change the IPL attributes and bring the server to power down)
9. Now IPL again wth IPL source as A and mode as Manual
10. System will IPL to DST screen
11. Check for disk configurations, the disks protection will remain Intact.
12. Perform IPL, Message will be prompted "system asp has been cleared which requires install of OS load the media"
13. Load the I_Base_01 CD in drive and hit enter key to install OS.
14. LIC IPL in process will be displayed on screen.
15. Mirroring Sync. will be performed.( Incase Disks have mirrored protection)
16. Directory Recovery will be displayed (This step may take 30-60 mins time)
17. Once Load next volume message in displayed, continue the installation with next volume in cd drive)
